Review of Kinglux Optics 10x25mm – good binoculars for an inexpensive price?

*** Next – you need to take a bright light source (I took a flashlight, of course) and direct it to the front lens. Therefore, the setting is very convenient and allows you to do everything accurately. — dimensions: 109x43x118mm And, of course, this thinking is wrong. — eyepiece outlet diameter: 2.5mm — eyepiece outlet distance: 11mm A year ago, I received binoculars in a box that looked much neater than this Kinglux, but the contents, apparently, dangled mercilessly inside, as a result – a broken eyepiece. Well, further checking the multiplicity does not require serious mathematical equations. The diameter of the front lenses is declared 25mm (which is already clear from 10x25mm) and the manufacturer did not disdain to indicate another important parameter: the exit pupil diameter is 2.5mm. – Field of view: 288ft/1000Yds, 96m/1000m Nevertheless, it is suitable for storage, and this is already much better than nothing. When unfolded, the binoculars become not much larger: In the kit there is a kopeshny case and a brief instruction in English. — weight: 260 grams It rotates just as tight as the diopter adjustment, so it’s really easy to tune in to sharpness. Although, knowing what to do, there will be no problems with it. — lens diameter: 25mm At the top of the binoculars there is an insert with the Kinglux logo and a focus adjustment wheel. – Magnification: 10x For clarity, I’ve drawn the cells. I’m demonstrating: The delivery set, although not chic, did not imply the presence of additional accessories. To check, you need to take a leaf in a box and, as it were, wrap one of the rear eyepieces with it. But the Chinese decided not to forget about the strap and completely (I liked the phrase) attached it to the binoculars. Its quality can be called good – there are no strange scuffs, and it is difficult to leave them yourself, and many important parts are either rubberized or have a special texture for a better grip. Mostly due to the fact that everything is packed very tightly inside. Second impression – "and he really is so small"? The binoculars have a truly small size of 109x43x118mm and weigh only 260 grams. The photo clearly shows that the size of the bright dot is about half the cell – that is, just our declared 2.5mm. The strap, of course, causes mixed feelings – you can not remove it, but it looks and feels too cheap. Absolutely nothing dangles just like that, all important details, such as, for example, the focus control, are blurry. Naturally, it is cheaper for a reason: it has a slightly lower refractive index and, as a result, the image quality is worse. If you missed the lens parameters indicated in the characteristics at the beginning of the review, then we will repeat. Instruction: For you to understand, this is to some extent no larger than the average smartphone: Hinges, which is important, are not plastic – already a guarantee of durability. At least, there are no complaints about their original state – the rear ones: Yes, this is an ordinary OEM cardboard box, but it came to me whole – the cardboard is dense and withstood all the hardships. So you will definitely need a cover to save them. Some were good, some pleased, and some were not worth even half of the amount that was asked for them. – Angle of view: 5.5 degrees On the inside there is a small summary: By the way, as you noticed, there are no caps for either the rear eyepieces or the front ones. Believe it or not, I will call the box in the photo below good. I liked the overall integrity of the design of the binoculars. Thus, I formed the opinion that good binoculars cannot cost little – it’s not just that even relatively expensive ones turn out to be complete junk. — material: ABS, rubber There are usually no surprises with the diameter of the front lenses – the declared 25mm is here, the main thing is to measure the lens, and not the entire eyepiece, otherwise it will come out more. – Lenses: BK- 7 I’ve had the good fortune to use quite a few binoculars, although most of them were in the $30-$50 range. And put a rag next to it. But despite all this, BK-7 is used even by famous binocular brands. All we need to do is divide the diameter of the front lens by the diameter of the exit pupil (25/2.5) = that’s our 10x. And in the end, in the hand, it looks like this: You can only adjust the diopter by applying force – nothing just scrolls. My first impression after I took out the binoculars was – "what kind of string is this?". If the whole set costs $19, then the case here takes exactly no more than one dollar. One of the main indicators of good optics in such binoculars are BaK-4 prisms – but such glasses are not cheap to manufacture and therefore, at least, there is an analogue in the form of BK- 7. The binoculars are made of plastic. In fact, when checking with a leaflet, the probability of an error is quite high, and it seems to me that the diameter of the outlet is still 0.1-0.3mm larger than we took, but even in this case, the multiplicity will be within 9x. There is enlightenment. Today’s $19 Kinglux (that’s without a coupon) proved it. It’s funny, but in this case, the binocular strap even helped me – I wrapped the sheet with it so that it would hold on tighter. – Focusing system: central But checking the diameter of the exit pupil is not so simple. As a result, a bright dot should appear on a piece of paper, the diameter of which will be the diameter of the outlet. The last important characteristic, which we will check, is the multiplicity (declared) – 10x. Therefore, you need to either put up with it or cut it off – without it it will not get worse.
